This Franco-British veteran of electric bands (City Kay, Joe Pilgrim & the Ligerians, etc.) unveils his personal, poetic blues tinged with Mandingo, British pop and North American folk. This ethereal music creates an intimate, borderless playground, where guitar and voice meet in a perpetual dialogue. Since 2016, Yoann Minkoff has released 1 album and 2 EP’s (including one with beatboxer Kris Nolly, who accompanied him for his concert at Les Tombées de la Nuit in 2019), and has been touring France, with a few detours through the UK and South Africa. His new album will be released in late 2024.
