After a traditional Sunday dinner with family or brunch with friends, Rennes residents are invited to spend a day enjoying some peace and quiet in the green lungs of the city, Parc du Thabor.
Les Copains Thabor is a Sunday stroll in nature, where spectators can discover artists in surprising, enchanting and sometimes little-known corners of the park. Three bands will each perform three sets in the afternoon, with Meïkhâneh (World Music), Jolies Letters (Americana Folk) et Leïla and The Koalas (Folk-pop).
At 6pm, walkers will meet at Théâtre de Verdure to end the day and the festival in a more electro atmosphere, dancing to the rhythm of Les Kitschenette’s (Sixties Rock), The Wankin’ Noodles (Rock) and Les Vagins Enchantés (Feminist Indy).
Before Les Copains Thabor, don’t miss Le Tour de Reine III on Sunday 16 September from 1:30pm, where family, friends, sports-enthusiasts and amateur cyclists come together for a huge bike ride across the city, with musical breaks and live concerts at secret venues.
