For the past few months, Vincent Glowinski’s strange and imposing frescos have adorned the scaffold sheeting of Rennes-based company SNPR. He first became known in Brussels and then internationally for his giant frescos across the urban landscape. Although Vincent Glowinski’s art is based on drawing, his work has become eclectic. Working under the name of Bonom, he experiments with dance, video light painting, sculpture, painting and street art. TNB is presenting another angle of his work – an interactive performance where the artist’s movements and gestures are recorded and shown on a screen in real time. Choreography becomes drawing and vice versa. Skia, Black Light, is a new creation that blends various styles, including light painting and ink drawings. The performance shows a progression from small to big. At first, the artist’s hand holds the paint brush, but then his whole body becomes the paint brush. A black-and-white world develops constantly, switching between positive and negative. Car headlights, a bike and then a crash! Life and death collide within the same accident. Vincent Glowinski’s performance will be accompanied by Musician Éric Desjeux.
