Stand for Magnan

With the help of Hortense Belhôte, eleven students from the Masters in Visual Arts and CAPS at Rennes 2 will be taking control of Nathalie Magnan’s archives (INHA-Collection Archives de la critique d’art, Rennes) and presenting interactive installations, modelled on a funfair.

Nathalie Magnan was a cyber-feminist and media strategist, who died in 2016, leaving the Archives de la critique d’art in Rennes a disparate and prolific collection. This Sunday, these archives will come to life across different parts of Frac Bretagne, in the form of fun and offbeat stands. These Nouvelles Aventures Technofestives (new technofestive adventures) will include card readings, coconut shies, custom flag or fanzine making, a sensory installation, an IRL video game and even face-in-the-hole boards, bringing history back to life by joyfully bringing it out of the shadows.
