After Pier chante son crime (2006), Aria (2012) and Gigot Love (2017), Les Tombées de la Nuit is continuing to support the Kali & Co company and Massimo Dean.
Le Rance n’est pas un fleuve is a long-term performance project that brings together a dozen so-called “marginalised” people, alongside artists Massimo Dean, Arnaud Méthivier, Richard Louvet and Yvon Le Men, who have been working with a network of cultural and social partners since its inception three years ago.
Massimo Dean has sown the seeds of an ambitious artistic project that aims to illuminate the hidden corners of society and build a new world by sharing a brief moment of poetic joy. The theatrical project shines the light on men and women who are not actors, but if you take the time to listen to their stories, you will see that they form a visionary humanity. This is precisely the intention of Massimo Dean, accompanied in this adventure by poet Yvon Le Men, whose play, Les Épiphaniques, explores twelve life trajectories and echoes the encounters with these unique people, working to find their way out of the darkness and reshape the world with extraordinary determination.
Since its creation, the project has spawned numerous encounters, exchanges and residencies, which will culminate in seven performances at the TNB, before a final performance in the cloister of the ADSAO shelter and social reintegration centre, presented by Les Tombées de la Nuit, to better continue on its journey.
The TNB will present the room version of this creation, during seven performances on Friday 18th & Saturday 19th of March, Friday 15th & Saturday 16th of April and from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd of April. More information from the TNB on +332 99 31 12 31 or on t-n-b.fr
