An acrobatic clown with a Chinese pole and existential questions. A musician with a rich sound identity. Aimless words that question life on Earth.
Moïse Bernier, from the multi-talented collective Galapiat Cirque (Risque ZérO, Parasites, etc.), has been playing this sprightly, exuberant and sweet rock’n’roll clown and Chinese pole specialist for years. Frightened by the chaos of the world, he climbs into the air and tries to put one foot in front of the other. Is he a musician? An acrobat? A philosopher? In any case, his head is in the clouds, much like Calvino’s The Baron in the Trees and other offbeat characters who sometimes see the world through an unusual lens. He is accompanied by a musician who virtuously conveys his tormented emotions and thoughts in a score that is both visceral and tribal. The pair will perform at Lucie et Raymond Aubrac Square in Maurepas, in a performance set to dazzle our eyes, ears and hearts.
