Fusée de détresse, supported by Les Tombées de la Nuit, is a European cooperation artistic project initiated by Paloma Fernàndez Sobrino and coordinated by L’âge de la Tortue, which led to the creation of seven shows in six project partner countries (France, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Portugal) between July 2018 and July 2021. Based on letters taken from The Encyclopaedia of Migrants, the shows reveal the private lives of migrants. The documentary series directed by Nani Blasco covers the project’s development in each country across six episodes. These will be screened and followed by discussions with the project team.
