Paul Dupouy and Inès Cassigneul from Sentimentale Foule drew inspiration for Education Sentimentale from the Map of Tendre, a map of an imaginary land called Tendre, invented by the Précieuses in the 17th century. This allegorical and geographic map shows villages and paths of the various stages of love. The River of Inclination can be found near the Lake of Indifference or the Village of Tendre-sur-Estime.
From 18 March to 15 April 2018, Sentimentale Foule will offer workshops to create love maps. Two groups of nine people will use the outline of an area, and through writing and drawing, attempt to answer the question “What is the path to love?”
To conclude the adventure, the participants will combine their work in a living atlas presented to the public on Sunday 15 April, during the Fête au Triangle festival.
