Dancing is back at the Ubu on the 3rd Sunday of the month to keep your bodies and minds warm throughout the winter months. For this season’s première, German label Permanent Vacation will be showcased in honour of their 10th anniversary. Permanent Vacation has long been considered one of the most respectable and open-minded electronic music labels, releasing early work by Todd Terje, John Talabot, Tensnake, Red Axes and Lauer. Lauer will be working alongside the label’s boss Benjamin Frölich in this more electronic relaunch of Dancing, which will nevertheless feature the 80s and disco tunes which have come to characterise the spirit of this original celebration.
