Dancer, choreographer, acrobat and artistic director of Bleu Tenace, Chloé Moglia, bases her artistic exploration on aerial acrobatics, which she’s developed through her company, Rhizome, founded in 2009.
Performing alone, 6 metres above the ground, on a sculpture-like structure she calls “Un demi-soupir” (half sigh), Fanny Austry plays a hybrid score mixing the calm of aerial acrobatics with the jerky movements of Krump (a dance born in the 2000s in the heart of the poor neighbourhoods of Los Angeles).
Set to the rhythm of live electro sounds by Marielle Chatain, Bleu Tenace is a very personal approach to aerial performance, where the art of acrobatics meets urban dance and where frenzy does not get in the way of contemplation. This means that, whether on the ground or in the air, we never lose touch with the world.
