This pop-up choreographed performance, Apaches, is a spin-off of the Wild Cat creation by dancer and choreographer Saïdo Lehlouh. Whether in situ or on stage, solo or in a group, Apaches brings together dancers who have long been marginalised into a single space at the same time. The choreographer draws on the authenticity of improvisation to create a genuine space of expression in each city that is open to both novice and professional dance enthusiasts.
During this last Sunday of the Waterproof festival, 135 male and female dancers have been invited to form an eclectic tribe that demonstrates the true beauty of instinctive spontaneous dance.
